i made my first poem ever. it took a while to make, hopefully it's good. it's about a person i decided i didn't wanna be friends with anymore:
the things you said to me
“good luck sleeping tonight”
you missed the point, i think
maybe my decision was right
when all we had was lost
when what we had had drifted
there was no point to our fight
in the end, we got it twisted
now i feel so strange
mourning what we had
but the time has now passed
there’s no need to feel so bad
i wonder what you think
now that that person is gone
i hope it’s the same as me
feeling a call to move on
so if you can hear my words
know that i’m not sorry
i enjoyed the time we spent
but this is the end of our story

I've been listening a lot to this band I found recently called Loathe. The album "I Let It In and It Took Everything" has been so good, combining the metalcore of their previous stuff with this ethereal, melodic sound that I really love.
