@SRAZKVT also yea i fucking hate the nether with all of my heart. its a worthless place that only exists as a stop gap to the end, and they only made it somewhat worth going there by adding netherite.
but still, a mod all about mechanical energy and doing cool shit with contraptions requires me to go there to trap a blaze in a block and use it as a heat source. nothing else works. not allowed to use fire or lava, which makes no sense considering steam engines in the same mod does it perfectly where having the blaze burners is ideal, but lava will work if you dont have those. but for this one specific thing, it is *necessary* for no apparent reason.
