random note - on the wiki i’m looking at that lists all the nijisanji members, i’ve had a pretty good instinct on whether to look at the active member section or the retired member section based on the design. i’m not sure how that calculation works in my subconscious but it’s been working.

azuchi momo - the first one to go into my love category??? slightly cuter art style but not too different from a normal one, i think, but still really cute. i like the colors a lot, reminds me of watermelon candy. she’s really cute!

it’s been like two hours of working on this on and off and i just saw how much i have left. oh god.

suzuki masaru - my favorite so far!! cute!!

i was thinking of starting to stream again this upcoming week but one of my dogs is likely being put down later in the week so we’ll have to see how i feel overall. might end up being another two weeks from now. but we’ll see! i’ve been thinking about it and i’m excited to start again lol.

Something I’ve noticed throughout both my lists is that vtuber faces are usually pretty bland. I was thinking about how the artist for both Gawr Gura and Amelia Watson’s illustrations other art’s faces all look like them.

Elu - I liked this at first glance, but the more I looked the less I vibed with it. Proportions seem kinda off, face is bland and contrasts too much with the rest of the design, bleh. With vtuber designs I seem to dislike them the more I think about them.

Tsukino Mito - Simple, doesn’t do anything special but still cute.

i don’t know if i’ll end up completing the whole tier list because there’s like over a hundred of them but i’m gonna try a #nijisanji one (based off their character design and current primary model again), i might attach some thoughts about some of the designs as a thread to this post

last night i was thinking about how because my memory is shit and my taste changes, what really is the usefulness of ratings aside from capturing how you felt about it when you consumed the product? i edit ratings over time as i feel my opinion on something changes to keep it more accurate to current me, but really, it’s just as inaccurate if not more so. but i’m not sure if there’s a good solution to this. going back to a 5 star rating system would alleviate it a bit i think, but trakt doesn’t support that…

@Deiru I’ve tried numerous times but it’s never really clicked with me. Well, at least outside of a few times many years ago I did it a lot for like a week before starting to not feel it.

I need some new hobbies. I have a lot of time where I’m running through like the few things I enjoy doing, trying to find something I’m feeling, and end up not doing anything for hours. It also leads me to spending time on stuff I don’t really care about or that makes me feel worse in the end. I don’t know what those hobbies would be, though…. I’m limited to stuff that can be done via a computer or phone (not that I’d care much for outside of that anyway) and I’ve already tried lots of stuff in that realm. Research is required, I suppose.
