When one dude goes around talking about who’s going to be tried/imprisoned/executed when he’s in power, that dude should *never* have *any* power again. Ever.

"People are too tired to mask" is a BS excuse for inaction.

You can require masks. You can distribute free N95 masks. You can educate people that #COVID is airborne.

Unless you are doing all of these things, you have no right to say "people are tired." The fault is yours.

Lately I keep thinking our biggest problem is that we confuse intelligence with loudness and arrogance, when really it's the opposite.

Intelligence is humility. It's listening and paying attention. It's understanding there's stuff you don't know or understand.

I am a Democrat.
A Democratic Senator has been indicted for a crime.
He should get professional legal representation and a fair trial.
If convicted he should serve a sentence similar to others who have done the same.

If you’re going to interview Donald Trump, you had better be prepared to fact check him in real time. Our media does a terrible job of allowing him to spew falsehoods and spread conspiracies without calling him out on them. This is not the time to platform Trump like he is some regular politician. He is an existential threat to our democracy, including to institutions such as the free press. Do better.
