Coral Castle

We're an akkoma instance for chill folks who want a simple place in fedi. It's locally hosted by Lux using dedicated hardware and residential internet.

Community Guidelines

Before signing up you must agree to our community guidelines:

1. You must be at least 14 years old to sign up to Coral Castle. Under Article 19,628 of the Chilean law, we are unauthorized to collect data from individuals under 14 years of age.
2. Do not spam or raid. We're trying our best to build a safe environment and we're working independently. We ask you to not use this instance as a method to toxify the fediverse.
3. NSFW/NSFL content must be marked as sensitive. Coral Castle is built to be used as a casual instance, and as such should be accessible anywhere.
4. Hate speech, pedophilia, and harassment will get you banned. Endangering other individuals will not be tolerated.
5. Keep it legal. Piracy laws may vary between jurasdictions, so to prevent us from getting defederated please don't post pirated content. CSAM is strictly prohibited and posting it will lead us to contact the respective authorities for your respective jurasdiction.

Moderation Policies

The sanctions for local users will be relative to the gravity of their infringements, varying from simply deleting the offending material, to warning the user through a three-strike system, to immediately banning the offending user.

Coral Castle will moderate federating instances in the following order:

1. Report offending material to the instance administrator.
2. If the instance refuses to comply, visibility of the posts of the instance will be modified. (Removal from "Known Network" timeline, rejecting attachments)
3. Lastly, if users of the instance are directly harrassing users, all posts from instance will be rejected.

If you're an instance administrator and you think your instance was sanctioned by mistake, feel free to appeal by emailing me at they@mint.lgbt.
