glasses and eye exams are separated from normal healthcare because if they weren't people would start identifying too much with the other people who rely on durable medical equipment to function
if eyecare was lumped in with the rest of healthcare we'd have fewer sleek suburban optometrist/opthalmologist combo clinics and more family medicine/opthalmologist pairings; getting glasses for the first time would be a doctor visit with referral to a specialist, just like getting any other assistive device
but no, we can't have our productive members of society identifying as disabled, that might promote solidarity 😔

No. We don’t have to seize a single thing. Nothing has to be stolen or taken. If you stopped paying your landlord rent, if the cops stopped enforcing the landlord’s claim, the landlord will have lost nothing but a rentier claim to your labor. You don’t “seize” your own home; your landlord has not lost something they weren’t even using in the first place.

- you must be over 14 years old to join. coral castle's servers are hosted in chile, and under article 19,628 of the laws of chile, we are unauthorized to collect data from people under 14.

- keep things legal. this includes pirated content, since we want to keep a good relationship across fediverse servers. posting CSAM is strictly forbidden and will result in legal action.
moderation policies
the sanctions for local users will be relative to the gravity of their infringements, varying from simply deleting the offending material, to warning the user through a three-strike system, to immediately banning the offending user.
