at the gas station. there's an ad for a 26L backpack. thinking about how weird it is that backpacks and petrol have the same units. it'd cost £38.87 to fill it with petrol.

it's a bit weird realising how many little things countries do differently.

drink cans are 330mL. but they're 355mL in the US and 375 in Australia.

light switches in the US are different. that's not because of electrical voltage or anything, they just kinda agreed on something (rectangles) (and european ppl agreed in something else (squares)).
