aaaaaaaaa I finally did it I went into a charity shop and bought a skirt!!!! the lady there was so nice! thought it would be really awkward (the bit at the till) but it was fine!!!!!

honestly one of the really really nice things about being here is the 24/7 library access. i'm just chilling here. comfy chair on the fifth floor, looking out across the roundabout. drinking chilled water from the cooler. it's almost *silent*. no computers on, nobody here.

imagine walking into someone's uni dorm to do maintenance or something. and there's no furniture, just a dog bed, bowl of water, and PC. honestly such a mood I should do this.
