- a 2006 core duo mac mini
- a 2007 athlon dell inspiron desktop

@ioletsgo might use that mac mini as a thin client. it's too underpowered to really do any daily tasks but it could work for vnc perhaps

@ioletsgo and believe me, i've tried with xfce4. web browsing is painful on it.

@m xfce is only lightweight in comparison to KDE plasma.
To get the true lightweight experience, you'll have to basically configure a desktop using Openbox as the windows manager.

@ioletsgo i mean xfce already uses openbox as the wm. but yeah i get your point. i could try setting up sway but i haven't turned this thing in a year so maybe one day...
