in my post-caffeine, post-soda life, I've been exploring a lot of and the like lately. Any recommendations?

@nchprgmng so this mornings brew was just awesome: mint, nettle, honey and a little dash of vanilla oat milk. Tastes like an elixir from the gods.

@nchprgmng I've only tried a handful of different teas but my personal favourite is pine needle tea! They're free if you live near pine trees kind enough to share, and it's fun to experiment with needles from different trees (so long as your careful not to poison yourself)

@anova I'm a very poor herbalist and am liable to poison myself first try 😅

@nchprgmng I'm a huge fan of red rooibos tea. It's not for everyone, but I prefer its taste to that of black tea, either hot or iced.

@jik the rooibos I've tried I've quite enjoyed, will check it out!

@nchprgmng Are you in the USA? If so, I highly recommend adagio.com. The tea is high quality and the reward points program is nice. The black tea varietals are extensive and they have some great flavored teas, and things like white tea and rooibos. I've been a customer for about 10 years.

@nchprgmng Are you looking for black tea, fruity/dessert flavored teas? This is my favorite decaf! With a splash of vanilla oat milk and a little sugar, it tastes like strawberry ice cream.

@anova (keeping in mind I stay away from mint flavors)

@nchprgmng I'm a beginner herbalist myself so I can't say I've had much luck in identification, but I'm pretty sure the ones I usually cultivate from would be either ponderosa pine or western white pine, both of which are mostly found around the US northwest and Canadian southeast. I definitely don't find them minty, they're very... uh... tree-tasting? It's kind of hard to explain without trying it lol

@nchprgmng Ah, yes, not a bad idea. I'm not aware of any companies that sell them, so let me know if you find a good one!
