sometimes i think about how i’d love to meet new ppl on this platform, but at the same time i rarely post, or i’d post the most random weird things ever and i feel so awkward

@kotonya it’s hard actually meeting people on here and i’ve had accounts in various places for over a year now, and i do post. feels like how the internet is, at least nowadays.

@SweetAmelia yeah i agree, feels like it takes a bit to meet people for one thing, but meeting people that have the same vibe that i can talk to comfortably is quite a bit harder too

@kotonya For me it’s easy enough to get to the point of starting a conversation with someone (online) but actually being able to have a friendship with someone has been really difficult.

- hate speech, paraphilia, and harassment will get you banned. having basic human decency is key anywhere. whether it is in real life or on the internet, don't be a jerk.
- keep things legal. this includes pirated content, since we want to keep a good relationship across fediverse servers. posting CSAM is strictly forbidden and will result in legal action.
moderation policies
the sanctions for local users will be relative to the gravity of their infringements, varying from simply deleting the offending material, to warning the user through a three-strike system, to immediately banning the offending user.
