@april rhythmbox does the job for me but it's a bit dated. bit in the market myself as well

@april I like Clementine, but development has slowed way down on it, and nobody has bothered to do a proper release in a long time, so for years the best call has been to pull the latest build from their CI.

@danielleigh @april (cc @anova, saw in replies you also use Clementine) Strawberry is a fork of Clementine with way more active development, you might wanna look into it
I don’t know if you can copy over a Clementine config to Strawberry with no issues but I guess it’s worth a try

@april rn im using one called strawberry music player (https://www.strawberrymusicplayer.org/)
The layout makes sense, the playlist makes sense, it plays like every audio format I can think of, and it’s GPL

@april quod libet for my linux system, since it’s the most unopinionated music player, and i can organize as i please

gone mad music player for my android phone, as it supports multi artist tags and multi genre tags
