had a funny thing happen today. my parents always said that when i was a kid i only ate white or brown food. today i was looking up autism food rejection and found this:

The pattern of food refusal is usually present by the age of two, and by school age the typical number of foods eaten frequently reduces to as few as 5-10. These tend to be foods from categories that are perceptually similar, for example, ‘beige carbohydrates’ such as:

  • bread
  • pasta
  • crisps.

i know i have autism its just wild seeing confirmation that i did show signs as a kid. i dont really get that often.

being autistic and slipping through the cracks without a diagnosis sucks. self diagnosing comes with a lot of imposter syndrome. its hard to justify to yourself that you’re really autistic when the first person to discover your autism was you
