what’s stopping somebody from porting it to linux? why do i need wine to run it in linux?

but notepad++ also has its fans and i still think its weird that nobody has at least tried.

apparently the maintainers simply don’t want to do it, which is what i expected.
my original question was more along the lines of “why hasn’t somebody else forked it and done it anyways” and it seems people have.

Wikipedia says the guy could port it to wxWidgets for Mac and Linux compatibility but didn't want to, implying he wrote it in raw win32

moderation policies
the sanctions for local users will be relative to the gravity of their infringements, varying from simply deleting the offending material, to warning the user through a three-strike system, to immediately banning the offending user.
