the bbc food website (*not* bbc goodfood) is so so much better than all the others i've ever been on.

no ads (for uk ppl)
recipes by actual chefs/authors
no life stories (just ingredients + instructions + maybe advice at the end)
no reviews (just a star rating from users)
no scrolling "recommended recipes" (it has two at the top though)

why is it this good?
it's not trying to make money. it doesn't have to. it's paid for by the tv license. long live the bbc.

ok the bright social media buttons on the side are annoying but they're literally just links to their accounts (not the tracking share here buttons) and you can get rid of them with a one line usercss
