quick reminder that you can absolutely advocate for the better treatment of minors, more rights for minors, etc. without also defending gross age gaps that breed abuse and trauma 👍

also, if you're an adult that is advocating for minors being able to be in relationships with gross age gaps, I am automatically going to assume you have insidious reasons for doing so. I dont care how much you think that "as long as the relationship is healthy." there is already so much abuse, manipulation, and fucked up shit that can happen in normal relationships, and it's entirely common for these issues to be hidden for a sadly long amount of time. what makes you think you'd be able to tell if a relationship between a 16 and 20+ year old is healthy? as someone that's spent pretty much its entire teenage life getting groomed by people far older than me, no one around me knew or cared enough to get me out of it. if you are going to defend that, im going to think and fully expect you to be a morally corrupt person, if not just a straight up pedophile. I'm not sorry.

moderation policies
the sanctions for local users will be relative to the gravity of their infringements, varying from simply deleting the offending material, to warning the user through a three-strike system, to immediately banning the offending user.
