jaredwhite@indieweb.socialI never read Asimov's Foundation series. I understand this show has drifted fairly far from the source material on a lot of plot points, and I can understand some people being unnerved by that.
But is this show great TV? I think it is. I think the showrunners and the artists know what they're doing…at least for audience members like myself.

jbwharris@mstdn.ca@jaredwhite The last couple episodes I’d say have turned the show from one I liked to one I’m now loving. I’m not sure I’d been wholly sold until now, but it’s now found that extra gear with some of the reveals.

@jaredwhite I've started reading them, before I watch the show. They would make terrible TV if adapted faithfully.

@jaredwhite I do approve of a lot of the changes, particularly around modernization of the tech compared to the books, and the clever ways they keep the same characters so that you don’t constantly swap out everyone for new ones over the span of centuries.

moderation policies
the sanctions for local users will be relative to the gravity of their infringements, varying from simply deleting the offending material, to warning the user through a three-strike system, to immediately banning the offending user.
