@laamaa this is good, I like it and I want to hear more. Very soothing sound in a painful world

Thank you! It's Furnace tracker, a free chiptune tracker that supports a lot of different systems. https://github.com/tildearrow/furnace

@laamaa Awesome! Can it be used to create SID modules possible to play on C64 hardware?

HW playback is impossible currently for C64 afaik, as the program can currently export only VGM and a custom command stream format. But there should be a possibility in future, as someone's making a player routine for the command stream files! https://github.com/nicco1690/csp64

@bitbear @laamaa Oh, oh, I heard you guys talking, can I just shamelessly plug https://github.com/Chordian/sidfactory2 while you’re on the subject? Thank you.

oo, i even managed to get some kind of sound out of it! the help frame is a pretty nice feature for a complete c64 noob like me, i never understood the wave/pulse/filter etc. tables when i tried opening goattracker a few times 😅

@laamaa Awesome! I’ve never quite understood the basics of SID either, and have thus not been able to do anything useful in GoatTracker myself. This looks and sounds very promising!

@laamaa @bitbear @laamaa Don’t hesitate to ask, I’ve been using (and helping develop) it for a while now.

@laamaa @bitbear @laamaa Cool! That sounds more like the start of a great oldskool cracktro track than just some kind of sound ;)
