I have a bad habit of posting short posts and replies, then immediately going back to edit to add more or tweak the wording. Getting way too used to the edit feature on here.

@TempestDerg I use it a lot to add missing words. My brain often works at a different speed from my hands, so I'll leave words out of sentences and hit send without noticing.

@indirectferret Same. Especially frustrating if I decide to post something on BlueSky or god forbid the bird site first, and when I realize that I want to add more, I either have to delete it and repost or awkwardly add a tacked on reply.

That's honestly 80% of my communication on discord and telegram, and jeez is it awkward knowing I'm editing a message *while* someone is responding to it lmao

- keep things legal. this includes pirated content, since we want to keep a good relationship across fediverse servers. posting CSAM is strictly forbidden and will result in legal action.
moderation policies
the sanctions for local users will be relative to the gravity of their infringements, varying from simply deleting the offending material, to warning the user through a three-strike system, to immediately banning the offending user.
