i have had two (2) professors think that vscode is a weird choice for an editor and is onlt used for .net development and its really quite odd

its not even remotely close to being true, microsoft has a seperate editor for C#/.NET development. and it has a different ui too, its only similar in name and in the default color scheme.

and its understandable that they'd get the name confused, but i remember that the first professor who made this confusion would just not let me correct him. he kept interrupting saying "no its only for .net" before i could get a word out
