@easrng if your fedi instance has less than 100 emojis you don't know how to run a fedi instance /lhj
@alina@girldick.gay @easrng@pleroma.envs.net hasn't she been here for ages or am i missing a joke
@easrng@pleroma.envs.net you are the person from these math problems
LOL.
Remember, kids it's only "Emoji" if it comes from the "Uniqueaude" region of France (or the Shift-JIS region of Japan, I suppose). Otherwise, it's just sparkling clipart.
@easrng think the way to make this issue report without making the developer wildly question your life choices is to just say that you're the author of software using the library, and not mention that you're also the user who ran into this
@crafti@pleroma.0x68756773.moe @easrng@pleroma.envs.net eh, i'm only at 12k
@crafti@pleroma.0x68756773.moe @easrng@pleroma.envs.net where it was also on old hardware which was generally quite slow
@crafti@pleroma.0x68756773.moe @easrng@pleroma.envs.net there was also a bug in the picker for a while which lead to really bad performance when searching for emojis

@easrng Keep going, someone will eventually revolutionize how they're processed out of necessity.
@Akulatraxas@meow.social @easrng@pleroma.envs.net I don't have that many
@easrng re: the edit: my mind initially went to content-visibility too, but i was hesitant since support in Firefox is incomplete (just try scrolling and searching in the page on https://seirdy.one/notes/). Firefox really shouldn’t have rolled it out until auto
and contain-intrinsic-size
have support.
