they ship the worlds worst keyboard layout (fn - ctrl - super - alt) and then enable a setting in the bios to flip fn and ctrl by default instead of just putting a normal layout
function key lock is on by default, so that i have to tap it once and it then makes my entire keyboard unusable until i press a function key again
the function keys DONT ACT AS FUNCTION KEYS until the fn key is locked, meaning i can't do alt+f4 or anything
(windows specific) the trackpad's middle click button doesn't work at all, 3 finger tapping on the touchpad invokes the WINDOWS KEY
and it doesn't go to sleep when i close the lid on linux

@lea Everytime I see all those laptops with weird fn key shenanigans that teach non-computer people that the F1-F12 keys are just media keys, I realize that most "normies" who use Windows 11 and Microsoft Edge and know nothing about computers, will never need to use any of the function keys, but will find a use for the media keys

Honestly swapping alt/fn and fn lock sound even worse than just having to hold fn to use the actual function key, but yeah, 99% of people will never press Alt, Fn, or any of the function keys ever, unless by accident and then complain why their computer doesn't work
They will only use the volume change keys, but when they toggle back into function keys, most people once again will just accept that their computer is broken I guess
