i think it's obnoxious behaviour to post something that doesn't need an image, include an image, and say "image unrelated"

you have to do that on imageboards because the software assumes there's no reason to post without an image. on reddit there's a whole post type for "posts that don't need an image" that take up less room on my screen and lets me preview the words in the post

@monorail it's the worst on reddit because reddit doesn't show the text of a post if you post an image unless you click through.

doubly worse when you make the title of the post just like, 2 words, instead of a full question you're asking. Or the title is (idk, like for a racing game) "Question about driver stats"

@monorail part of the problem is that posts with images literally take up more space on the screen, which means more interaction with your post
