@testing why not? I mean I would prefer using Graphene for my phone but since it no longer gets updates, I'm just messing around and rooting LineageOS for now

@denzilferreira @asahi95
my opinion on lineageos comes with a caveat: i am strongly biased against any os based on android, so i am most probably not playing fair with lineageos > i just do not trust them…

and then, there was this article recently:

https://teddit.pussthecat.org/r/PrivacyGuides/comments/12yhs7c/kuketz_lineageos_is_neither_very_privacyfriendly/

and i admit that i do use android mostly on mobile devices, although i hate it, but e.g. postmarketos (i like it very much, it’s pretty cool! and no systemd crap!) does not work as reliable as even postmarketos devs themselves would like to have it

@testing @denzilferreira
Well there was this part of the thread, although I'm not entirely sure if it's true or false

@asahi95 @denzilferreira
primduck’s comments on kuketz are sharp and well-thought! that’s why i linked this reddit thread rather than the kuketz article

@asahi95 @testing @denzilferreira Yes, Kuketz doesn’t mention microG on the post, so I assume they are just talking about the mainline LineageOS (Not LOS with microG)

@Tau @asahi95 @testing you can find some of my stuff on building AOSP in XDA (dferreira) ☺️ that's as clean of Android as you can get 🤣
