I randomly remembered that I have a PinePhone. RIP to the last four hours of my life. meowdizzy

I tried playing with Phosh on Arch, then tried out vanilla GNOME on Postmarket OS. The latter is definitely the way to go. blobyeengrin No shade to Librem since GNOME still has some pretty big compromises that they haven't worked out, but it's wild how nice GNOME on mobile is now.

Also the PinePhone is such a potato. blobcatmlem I heckin' love it.

@pan Whatever came with the GNOME flavor of PostmarketOS is what I'm using. otter_peek Are there any additional patches beyond that?

@Rusty there are two flavors of gnome on postmarketOS, are you building the image or downloading it? the one you want to use is gnome-mobile, not gnome happycat

@pan I'm using the pre-built images provided for the PinePhone on the PostmarketOS website, which only has gnome-mobile and not a full GNOME shell build. I'm definitely not running the full GNOME shell, just the official mobile shell. I think running the full shell would melt my phone blobfoxsweating
