@celeste @asahi95 It really could be.

Literally everything I see anyone post about having to do with the school system in the US makes me so glad I was homeschooled.

@Wyndix yes but it was never banned before at all, never in so many years

People here never really go through it for that kind of content anyways, all they want is useful info

And this another tactics of schools censoring the internet for its students

@Tau yes, you've read that correctly

I'm very disappointed tbh, there's a shit ton of useful info on there, no ads, no bloat, nothing

And now I have to go to some useless crap site that is bombarded with advertisement and tracking

@asahi95
Can you use google's cache as a proxy? (Search it, there's also other non-google options that work similarly)

@asahi95 or most likely, they're just banning websites which allow inappropriate content :P

Did you know PornHub also has educational video, lots of them. Schools don't care, because there is still porn

@Wyndix I wasn't aware of P*rnhub having educational vids

On the contrary, I don't agree with the school banning the Internet Archive, I've used that site for so long to help with my work and research into

@asahi95 @Wyndix Internet Archive is critical information. We need it to gather precious memories.

@ahriboy @Wyndix Correct, we still have to defend the Internet Archive and be able to archive as much useful information as possible

Internet Archive is the biggest library of info on the internet. We can't let anyone nor anything take it down or attack it.

@ahriboy @Wyndix @asahi95 censoring schools are teaching more important, more fundamental lessons about the nature of power and the value of obedience - they are showing that understanding how to use tools of liberation and taking power into your own hands is your responsibility.
