Hi! I'm Tau. I like to play games and tinker with computers, specially programming and Linux.

I'm very chill but also a little anxious about talking with people so keep that in mind!

@asahi95 A lie as much as me saying I will stay in the same distro more than 2 months.

Itā€™s just funny, donā€™t take it to heart

@asahi95 Donā€™t worry, itā€™s just funny because you always say ā€œI have to stop migratingā€ and then you migrate! XD

I know it's missing the point, but, shouldn't the cookie popup default all options to off? GDPR enforces that all cookies should be opt-in except when required for the web to be functional and/or for non-profit organizations

I prefer more fluffy hair, and I don't like the razer-thin hair on the sides. But that are just preferences!

@dantescanline @kevin @endali @asahi95 thanks for the meme! I've seen it pop up a few times and it never fails to bring a smile to my face :)

Here's one I made in response to it before:

Millennials and early Gen Z of Lemmy, what did you do for fun before phones became such a huge part of our lives?

I keep cutting out things like social media from my lifestyle, but I'm finding it hard to fill the time. Reading can only go so far, there's never anything on TV, and my friends all live twelve miles away.

So, before we really had social media, what did teenagers do?

I have nevr understood why it's so different, even how japanese users interact with the web with things like TreeStyleTabs and Vivaldi which are very popular in Japan but very obscure elsewhere.

Also, the websites usually don't have modern designs while here the modern designs are the norm, everywhere, it's exhausting

@asahi95 I'm absolutely jealous of how there are so many Japanese mainstream pages that still adhere to the 90s-to-mid-2000s web design. I find it so much more pretty, legible and easy to explore & read than the sterile, boring corporate modern design thats everpresent everywhere nowadays šŸ„“
