i am once again requesting that we refer to fedi as The Federation, for no reason other than i’m a trek nerd who thinks it sounds cool
e.g. “The Federation stands for peace and tolerance”; “Federation denizens enjoy a Web experience that has progressed beyond the need to entertain corporate interests”; “oh, those catgirls and foxgirls hail from The Federation”; and so forth
come onnn, don’t tell me it doesn’t sound kickass
we’re The Federation!

So apparantly recently, thebad.space put 0w0.is, snug.moe, and void.rehab on their lists, and while doing some digging, i found us on the list;

for the same blanket two tags ive seen on almost every other block list entry; "Poor Moderation, hate speech"
no evidence, no references, no fediblock posts, absolutely nothing, just an import
im not going to say here wether we have these tags applicable to us (and if we do, please inform us over at @mods, we always want to improve), but for now i just want to point out that over 90% of the blocks on this site are the same; no evidence, two of the same tags
how is this a blocklist? how can you trust this to be vetted? and most importantly, how can you know that this site is good for your instance's moderation, if you don't know the reasons these sites were added to that block list?
fedi can only thrive if everyone blocks on their own merits, not blindly.

community guidelines
- you must be over 14 years old to join. coral castle's servers are hosted in chile, and under article 19,628 of the laws of chile, we are unauthorized to collect data from people under 14.
- do not spam or raid. the fediverse is not your space to intoxicate.
- nsfw/nsfl content must be marked as sensitive. coral castle is built to be used as a casual instance, and as such should be accessible anywhere.
- hate speech, paraphilia, and harassment will get you banned. having basic human decency is key anywhere. whether it is in real life or on the internet, don't be a jerk.
- keep things legal. this includes pirated content, since we want to keep a good relationship across fediverse servers. posting CSAM is strictly forbidden and will result in legal action.
moderation policies
the sanctions for local users will be relative to the gravity of their infringements, varying from simply deleting the offending material, to warning the user through a three-strike system, to immediately banning the offending user.
