@shroomie for low end emulation (up to psx) the rg280m is pretty much perfect. retro game corps also did a video guide a while ago on how to set it up nicely :)
for higher end stuff, the retroid pocket 3+ has treated me pretty well. it can kinda do ps2.
if you really wanna go all out, the odin 2 can apparently do wii u emulation! it's older brother (odin 1) can also do the wii very reliably, and both of them are android so they're kinda easy to set up, too :)
@shroomie (i mean do look into prices and stuff, and check that the one you want integer scales nicely with the likes of the gameboy and famicom- shaun inman made a tool for this a while back:
@shroomie if you wanna look into it more, taki udon (youtuber) does emulation handheld reviews and guides something like every week.
@shroomie mkay! do bear in mind that the 280m only has one joystick, so some games (like ape escape) won't be playable. but it's a really nice one!!
(also i'm definitely gonna send you some other psx games to play, bubsy 3d is literal objective shit)
@shroomie oh also "up to psx" counts the gba, but not the n64, ok? i think someone got a port of sm64 working a while ago but idk if it still exists on the internet...
(i've talked a LOT sorry)
@shroomie uhh, you could check for the 280v? it's a little cheaper but it has a plastic shell and is a little smaller, it also doesn't have the joystick...
@shroomie ok, today seems to be working out pretty well for you
@shroomie yeah ok fair... the rg280m will probably be back in stock after a little while, so just wait until then imo :)
