what the fuck I'm watching an animated show, so obviously this isn't like 60fps who has time to draw all that, but it just cut to a different shot and my eyes unwillingly snapped into "oh god this image is so stuttery" mode instead of just enjoying the show. what the hell. this has never happened to me before. with anything. in any media. except for genuinely stuttery video. and it's not just that scene because I went back like 10 seconds where I didn't notice anything and SUDDENLY IT FEELS CHOPPY SND STUTTERY WHAT THE HELL. what a terrible day to have eyes

@shroomie it’s not a budget thing, this was an intentional stylistic choice to draw at “8-12 frames per second”. although that info is from an AMA prior to season 2, so it may not apply as much to what I’m watching now, though I never noticed any choppiness prior to just now, and I don’t feel like this reflects badly on the show, just that Oh No I’m Annoyed Now At Something That Didn’t Bother Me The Previous 46 Episodes

@sodiboo well i mean, i knew about how it’s probably a stylistic choice, i just assumed the choppy and stuttery-ness was a budget problem.

@sodiboo like, i like the way spiderverse and puss-in-boots-the-last-wish do their visual stuff, i love funky stylistic choices lol
