Dota tournaments have the weirdest fucking sponsors… Why is BLAST Slam sponsored by Signapore. Yes, Signapore. The tourism board of Signapore is sponsoring a Dota tournament for some reason. The tournament is played in Copenhagen btw, not some place even close to Signapore.

sorrowl@plasmatrap.com@AppleAmps ESL tournaments are even better. They’re funded by Saudi-Arabia (ESL is owned by the Saudi investment fund) AND sponsored by the U.S. Airforce at the same time. Every time you watch an ESL tournament, you get an ad for some megaproject in Riyadh and then right after an ad for joining the USA airforce, it’s kinda bizarre.

the sanctions for local users will be relative to the gravity of their infringements, varying from simply deleting the offending material, to warning the user through a three-strike system, to immediately banning the offending user.
