i really didn’t want to have to engage with this stuff again but
just wanna put this out here before someone tries to call me out for housing a pedophile or something like that. when i see some callout post with claims that severe slide past my timeline I’m not going to blindly side with the author and take a statement from the accused before suspending their account from my own instance, especially considering how happy people on here are to fling overblown accusations at people they don’t like
as a side note, i am very disappointed that someone who I’ve trusted with administrator access on my instance repeatedly performed impulsive moderation actions in response to overblown drama without even mentioning it to me even despite me asking them to consult with me first multiple times in the past

also I’m not saying this is a final decision but I didn’t have the time nor energy to look into it and I’m not going to make hasty decisions that end up potentially negatively affecting someone

moderation policies
the sanctions for local users will be relative to the gravity of their infringements, varying from simply deleting the offending material, to warning the user through a three-strike system, to immediately banning the offending user.
