@sneexy I love my Steam Deck, but there’s no fucking way I can just bring it with me and whip it out to play something as casually as my 3DS. It was great

The peakest part of the 3DS imo was the special editions. Like practically everyone has a different *type* of 3DS with a different design and pack-in game, and I think that that's neat.

Also the 2DS being like 80 bucks was fucking INSANE how did they get away with that??

@volpeon @sneexy personally never had a 3DS, but I recently fixed up an old gameboy advance SP with a new case, and being able to use my old gameboy color cartridges in the compact foldable formfactor is amazing.
Also modern chinese bootleg gameboy cartridges are actually really decent and still very available.
It's an amazing way to relive all those old games, and it fits in my pocket besides my smartphone so I can take it anywhere.

@markasspandi @volpeon 3ds is just a comfy console . lots of good games and homebrew is piss easy and you could just shove a bunch of old roms too for emulating older games too .
on the other hand, steam deck has webfishing and terraria
