@minka like theres been different thought processes going on when giving types and designs, im not saying yours suck or something, but for example:
- mastodon being water/electric stems from 2 ideas: its the software most people start with, its supposed to be a starter mon in a way (see misskey being grass and pleroma being fire), electric type stemming from nothing but just being software after all which influenced its lowpoly-ish design
- akkoma being a pre-evo of pleroma makes no sense given akkoma is the fork of the latter, not the other way around
- generally i wouldnt want to make forks of software evolutions of each other because it'd be kinda ass to work with (though misskey being sort of like eeveelutions makes sense because these forks barely have any differences)
- i dont want to ever make designs for software ive never used (friendica, bookwyrm, peertube)

@shroomie @minka id rather stick to drawing colors off logos/ui palettes/mascots rather than "significant userbases", which would probably mean akko would don more purples than oranges and a witchy/magical theme
else i would have to make pleroma fox red, white, black and donning a swastika or other fascist symbol (and even then, the black-ish parts especially the eye marks resembling a thief/criminal eyebandana to play off the thing of pleroma historically having a dogshit userbase)

moderation policies
the sanctions for local users will be relative to the gravity of their infringements, varying from simply deleting the offending material, to warning the user through a three-strike system, to immediately banning the offending user.
