y'know i wish i understood Fused 240. like there's surely symbolism i'm missing. i saw someone make a comment about how it's about the horror of driving a car, and i *did* kinda latch onto that. like when you're in a car, you are in control, but not really. you're much more vulnerable in a car as well, both to yourself and others, and sticking inside that car is the best way to survive in car-based infrastructure. the games' awkward binds also reflect driving cars, as while yes it's something you can get used to, you never seem to fully be one with the set-up, and it is and will always be distinctly inhuman.

another theme i managed to latch onto is maybe colonialism? though we never see them, the planet seems to have been completely taken over by "Settlers" after a series of "Flashes" occurred, apparently messing everything up.
also apparently, the "Settlers" are also horrific in some way? it's hard to tell, but i'm choosing to mostly interpret this as being less about how they appear. i don't know.

yea those are my thoughts. they aren't all of them. probably. i think that if we ever have a better picture of the world and narrative of the game, it's going to be in some external media

thank you for your time.
