I was watching the newest video from one of my favorite youtube channels, Retail Archaeology, where they went to a like, luxury clothing store that's in a lot of debt and recently filed for bankruptcy, and they were like. less than impressed with the store, everything was overly expensive and the aesthetics in the store were like. not good.
in the comments I found someone being like, oh, you should get a woman's perspective on this store, I remember my mom coming here when I was a kid when she needed a dress for a fancy party and it was so magical and she looked so good and etc. etc. and I'm just over here like. I don't think it's a gender thing I think its a class thing like. no women in my family ever went to 'fancy parties' that would need something from a luxury brand store. if I went there with my mom we'd be laughing at the prices for things together just like the guy in this video lol
I don't think enjoying the store has anything to do with being a woman and it more has to do with how much money you have or had growing up
@fluttergirly hello, hot older woman in expensive clothes here [i wish], i source all of my luxury furs myself (hunting laws be damned) and bootleg every perfume i find
