Some day I wanna write a thing about the ways in which progressive artists draw trans women. Stuff like Let Me Out, The Nice House, and Mandelbrot Hall all use some kind of visual shorthand to convey "this person is transfem" and I feel like the ways in which they do overlap quite a bit. It's interesting.

The obvious traits artists tend to use as visual signals are height and angularity, I feel. The Nice House on the Lake's art style doesn't really use harsh angles so Norah is drawn as tall and scratchy instead.
