Been reading Whipping Girl by Julia Serano, very good so far! I expected it to be a bit more dense but in the introduction Serano explicitly states she wrote it so lay-audiences could understand as well and frankly I think that was a good decision. For context this was the book that coined the term transmisogyny.

Yeah! I think that living as a trans woman for long enough will naturally draw you to a lot of the same conclusions but having it all splayed out and named in front of you is reaaaaaally nice. That's not to say I haven't learned or been made aware of anything new though, there are a couple things in there about transphobia's relationship to anti-femininity that really made my head spin.

the sanctions for local users will be relative to the gravity of their infringements, varying from simply deleting the offending material, to warning the user through a three-strike system, to immediately banning the offending user.
