Figured out how to get Reshade shaders running with gamescope so now I can have CRT shaders on anything on Linux! :D
@shroomie Basically all you need to do is run gamescope --reshade-effect [path] -- [game you want to run] and bam, Reshade! Some other useful parameters are -W [width] -H [height] to change the output resolution, -r [refresh rate] to change the refresh rate and --force-cursor-grab if your cursor is behaving a little bit funny.
@bluestaggo wait. you don’t even need to install anything other than gamescope??
@shroomie Yeah, straight up. Some depth-based effects might not work from what I've heard but I just wanted to put a CRT filter over everything so it works just fine for stuff like that.
@bluestaggo nice!! all i want is a crt filter and some blending myself so this seems great :3
