@micro hello wfrom iris real computer
@shroomie@seafoam.space pretty good
need to learn copr asap to package several things though
@shroomie@seafoam.space copr is fedora's equivalent of arch linux's arch user repository (AUR) which allows you to install programs that are not packaged by the distribution (fedora in this case)
@micro Lots of yummers content in the desktop
@shroomie@seafoam.space i mean flatpak would work for installing programs too
the only reason i need copr is because all the applications i need are not graphical or absolutely 100% need to be installed system-wide (nyamely a few systemd units)
and also i'm using ublue so i can get the reproducibility of nixos without the glaring lack of documentation
@shroomie@seafoam.space https://github.com/ublue-os/image-template
ublue is basically an extension to fedora atomic which is just fedora linux but the entire system is a docker image
this has the advantage of making the system much more stable and reproducible since everything is updated at once and you can't directly modify system files
ublue allows you to modify the image to your liking so that you can still modify system files
@micro@grimgreenfo.rest help why do every oneshot fan has a similar hostname?
like both of my friends who like oneshot have their hostnames include TWM
