talking about small dick energy and Napoleon syndrome is fucked up

because like sure someone who is insecure about their masculinity can be toxic as shit

but what the fuck like

"someone is insecure about their masculinity so i'm going to call their masculinity into question based on physical attributes they can't control and also then as collateral call into question the masculinity of others who are smaller as well" is one fucked vicious cycle

stop

@SymTrkl i also like find "wow you sure seem insecure in your masculinity" to be a better burn than insinuating it's something about their body

@deilann Also Napoleon syndrome is a myth. It has zero basis in fact

@deilann Oh... When I use the "small dick energy" I don't even think about the actual body part, the concept has been abstracted so hard it's almost as if the words lost any tangible or direct physical meaning

It does make sense though, that has a pretty bad connotation, I wonder what terms could one invent that don't suck like that

@goat like i told someone else, directly calling it what it is works really well: insecurity in their masculinity

it's not snappy but it burns more

@deilann I don't like saying that either because being insecure with one's masculinity is actually a serious issue and i don't think it's something to be shamed

@shroomie @SymTrkl i mean i would be, it's a rather rude thing to say to someone especially a trans man, so no, that's gross
