Also if you're calculating like the different values in an electronic circuit, especially if you're prone to checking your own work, those extra characters and extra parentheses and extra time necessary to tell a calculator image A is different from image B really *do* add up.

Dawg if I wanna plug the angle of something into a formula it is *infinitely* easier to just put 120⁰ then express it as 1000/3.
Especially if I have a formula with angles on either side of a division and have to do something like this.
Hell, if I'm using a calculator than can only display inline division suddenly I gotta start using like 4 sets of parentheses a piece just to make sure nothing is fucking up something else, which then turns what I'm calculating into a labyrinthine mess that isn't readable at a glance.
