UFO 50 goes so hard man, I just won the final level of Avianos and the realization my opponent ran out of bones on their last turn as Stegnar after my troops successfully held them off TWICE was unbelievable. I was cornered on all sides but still won due to early game investment in my army and the power of Rexadon. Absurdly pog game.

I saw this Tumblr post a bit ago and like, I agree with it! But it's got me thinking about how I kinda gravitate towards the opposite, y'know? Like, media that shows you all of the best things about the person or people that made it.
Like, I didn't need to see his anti-war copywriting and essays to learn about Shigesato Otoi's deep humanist streak and fascinating sense of humor, because his games, the Mother series, do such a good job of showing who he is and what he loves. I like that type of media.
