I'm 19 but still, don't be gross in my mentions.
My avatar is a pixel art bush with legs, tired eyes, and a rose on their head.
My banner is three girls from the anime Lucky Star talking.
Proud humanist.
All my posts have alt-text but some of my boosts don't, sorry!

(The edit to the Walking Bushie in my bio was done by @h@besties.house, check her out!)

Talking to North Americans about public transport and city living makes me feel like I live in a veritable Utrecht instead of the sixth-worst city in the UK for traffic

My younger sister wrote this blog post about old flash dressup games and how they were so integral to her life. Please go check it out.

I love following people from all over because it gives me insight into so many meaningless local squabbles. It's kaleidoscopic.

If Kim Ju Ae becomes head of state of the DPRK before the US elects a woman president that'll genuinely be so funny. Gendermogged by North Korea.

If someone says they want to study psychology that doesn't inherently mean they're a bad person but it DOES mean they're deeply unwell.

No no in Chile that's for sure legal, still though I'd imagine having to share a single ID card/driver's license/whatever else would be tough. Also if both jobs happened at the same time someone would for sure accuse us of fraud at some point but if the shifts are staggered that shouldn't be an issue.

Dude, we'd need a doubled food budget. If we're in class that means both of us only attend half the lessons and if we're alternating the same job it means sustaining both of us on a single paycheck.

That's actually what they did in Argentina! In 1942 we switched over to DST and just never went back. The nation of Argentina has been in permanent daylight savings time for almost a century.

I've actually thought of that extensively. The main sticking point for me after we put our clothes back on would be IDs, because either I have to report them to the govt as an identical twin that I've just never disclosed I had up until now OR let them use my ID and accounts for everything, which adds a bunch of extra complications.
