Something I value about Harry from Disco Elysium is the way he captures the uniquely mentally ill experience of being in a constant losing battle against your own memories. Whenever you as Harry remember something from your past it's a vehicle for yearning or pain but never happiness, and like, yeah.

The fundamental difference between the left and right in the global north is their preferred mechanism for controlling the global south. Some folks are partial to IMF loans and global grant programs and some enjoy planning coup d'etats and military occupation but there is fully no "side" of mainstream western politics that wants to leave us alone.

Funniest little details about Argentina IMO is that all our knives are steak knives and our national card game is played with the tarot deck minus the major arcana and queens. Really shows what kind of country it is.

Hey, I've been having this issue where whenever I turn my computer on, it boots like normal until I type in my password and press enter. After that I just hear screaming, and screaming, and it doesn't stop, it goes on for hours and hours and it sounds like it's in pain and I want to help it but I can't.
Does anyone have any troubleshooting tips for this? I'm using an HP Pavilion Plus 14, if that helps!

Genuinely if I have the time and energy at some point I gotta write a book-length analysis of the Mario Galaxy games, they're so interesting to talk about and have so much going on underneath the hood.

Also also, the fact that Galaxy 1's first level has you surrounded by the vast, lonely expanse of space while Galaxy 2's takes place in a wide open sky filled with clouds is an INCREDIBLY interesting difference between the two games that really point to their divergent aesthetic and mechanical themes.

The Mario Galaxy games are masterpieces on basically every level but I do wanna point out specifically that they have some of the best skyboxes in gaming. Specifically the first game uses scale as its primary aesthetic motif so its use of these massive, almost surrealist surroundings in levels like Gateway, Dusty Dune, and Toy Time Galaxy reaaaaaally works to tie it all together.

Frankly, if a callout doc has enough pages to be a published novel that makes it less believable, not more.
There's no way you can reach that amount without filling it with petty grievances and at that point it's clear the motivating factor is spite rather than actual community upkeep.
