Chess is interesting because it's a game where casual and competitive play are extremely different but no real casual scene exists. Like, a professional analysis of a Chess match is incomprehensible to someone who only knows how the pieces move in the same way that pro Smash is incomprehensible to someone who only knows what the buttons do, but you can have a bunch of hours in SSBU only playing it casually in a way you seemingly can't with chess.

Something that I've noticed a lot of autistic people do is, like, pine for a non-existent way of showing emotion, y'know? If I had a nickel for every neurodivergent I've heard wish they had a tail to wag or cat ears to flex or, like, the capacity to do cartoon sight gags irl I'd be pretty well-off.

Tahani from RCBG is quickly becoming my favorite character. Aside from all the aurafarming she did in chapter 19 I really enjoy how she's allowed to be a tall standoffish trans woman obsessed with fighting games without that ever being framed as "playing into the stereotype" or whatever.

Katherine from Ranked Competitive Breast Growth is so good. In any other story she'd be a complete non-entity, like, "autistic tgirl that talks like sephiroth" *should* be a description for a one-off bit character, but she isn't one. She's a fully realized adult with interiority and motivations that just so happens to act *like that*.
RCBG is incredibly committed to giving all of its characters depth even when they're trans or neurodivergent or just straight up weird, and that's fantastic.
