A lot of these games will ramp up the challenge by including people who aren't doppelgangers but just kinda look like that, which is kind of insane, right? "Are they regularly ugly or the specific type of ugly that makes killing someone ok? You decide" is being used as a late-in-the-game difficulty increase on par with the lava levels in Mario.

I wonder what the cultural and political implications are for the new genre of horror where you're supposed to distinguish between real people and human-esque doppelgangers. Like, Mandela Catalog, No I'm Not A Human, Shift At Midnight, etcetera.
I wanna list Perfect Vermin as well but that game seems to be more a commentary than the genre played straight, either way I'm curious what it says about our society that "Papers Please but the illegals are ontologically evil" is such a big gameplay hook now.

Flirting might genuinely be a top 10 activity. Trying to get someone to know who you are and that you want to have sex with them without ever saying either explicitly, it's like a cooperative social deduction game played with no cards, just words. Also if you win you get to fuck at the end of it which is nice too.

Hakari from JJK is so fucking goated dude. Coolest powerset in the series, top 10 in terms of raw strength, fights two (2) fights on screen and then leaves. Also his powers only activate when an anime theme song is playing and he has a trans girlfriend he loves and respects.

"Oh but they're bigoted/white/right-wing/whatever!" is literally just the zionist "try being gay in Palestine, heh, thought so" argument repackaged from the left. All of you were rooting for Egypt, try googling how they treat queer people.
And like, you do get how papering over a whole country as being a "white homeland" is literally a far-right talking point, right? The Argentine right-wing wants that narrative to take hold so they can erase the very real experiences of Argentina's massive indigenous and afro populations, you're doing their work for them. Also ignoring the massive and well-documented history of leftist organizing in Argentina.
