My take is that all signs point to trans Ralsei being true and canon but I still don't buy the theory because I just don't think Toby Fox has the stones for it. Like, there's a big gap between making a minor NPC go from they/them to she/her in the Switch port and making one of the MAIN CHARACTERS in your magnum opus go from being a man to being a woman over the course of the story.

Love how fedi shows you followers-only replies to posts from people you're not a follower of. Leads to situations where I can see an oomf reply, like, "hey maybe you shouldn't use a gun for that?" and just have to guess the context like it's madlibs.

I want an +18 story that still uses shonen-style magical powers. Everyone has a built-in technique they use for combat AND for fucking. The bloodmancer and the girl that can create magical knives have a once in a lifetime fling, the guy that can turn invisible tends to ghost people, that kind of thing.

Oh and the opening, too. The opening! It's this massive homage to a bunch of smoking scenes from popular media, most of them scenes that use the cultural shorthand of cigarettes as classy and carefree, it's almost like the show wants to allude to all of that as bombastically as possible so it can slam down on you with the genuinely uncomfortable realities of abuse and marginalization. Good stuff.

  1. you must be over 14 years old to join. coral castle's servers are hosted in chile, and under article 19,628 of the laws of chile, we are unauthorized to collect data from people under 14.
