Hello everyone, It's Lux.

After nearly 3 years of running Coral Castle, I've decided to step down from my role as lead administrator of this instance. I haven't been active for the past few months, and I deem myself as no longer fitting to continue running it. However, this doesn't mean the instance will shut down, as I've decided to transfer this role to someone I trust by her experience running online communities.

The new lead administrator will be @v, who's going to replace my position one month from now (starting May 16th, 2025), and will manage the instance from her own infrastructure.

I understand however that an ownership transfer can raise concerns, as all information stored will be managed by a new third party, so before the ownership transfer occurs, existing users can still switch instances and delete their data permanently from this website before this process takes effect.

In two weeks (April 30th, 2025), I'll provide oko (v) with moderation access, so she can test out the tools and get used to this environment.

It was honor to have managed this instance, and I'll still be active online through other places. Thank you all for these 3 years, and I'll see you around. Take care!
