"none of those issues stem from being men" - not mentioning who because i don't like this shit

lemme see, transfem, transneu can relate but lemme question transfems:

have you been told that testosterone is gonna poison your ability to hold a baby? that you could have been a mother? that you were such a pretty woman going to waste? are you invisible from every transgender campaign? have you been denied healthcare like cervical smears due to transitioning? can you go through obstetric violence as a trans person? do you suffer barriers to abortion services due to your transition? did you know only cis women can abort in ireland? do you have people telling you that you had rapid onset gender dysphoria?

what i mean from all of this is that trans men, but also a section of nonbinary people go through this, and it's not an experience that can be explained by "transphobia" or "transmisoginy" because we are not women. WE ARE MEN. I hope this is the last time I talk about this.

Also TIRF, even on the damned wikipedia page about discrimination against trans men, say that trans men are denied help in organizations like those because they focus only on women and nonbinary people, so yeah. I don't like that I am an intersectional feminist for a reason.

If I hear one more word saying that trans men do not go through a specific set of violence that needs a name, I am moving to capivarinha.club because I am tired of gringos for real.

Anyway if you need more shit, you can do your research, googling transandrophobia shows a lot of resources trans men have made along the years. There's this small page too https://transandrophobia-explained.carrd.co/

"None of those issues stem from being men" is also kinda dumb because, like, they don't stem from being men, they stem from being *trans* men, that's what the trans in transandrophobia and transmisandry mean, right?

@AppleAmps yeah, that's why I feel like honestly just shooting myself out of gringosphere because even brazilians can understand this shit.

@nate
Yeah, I feel like a lot of this meta has been white women taking potshots at each other over if feminism is this or that when, like, if you were to look at feminism in places like Latin America you'd realize it has practically always been extremely inclusive and intersectional.

@AppleAmps our left is different from usamerica left, because usamerica left isn't really "left" like we say here, it's been contaminated by propaganda and people have hard time to separate things and notice that yes, you have been feed propaganda since a baby.

@nate this shit for real makes me want to just post on my neocities page and nothing else because every time I post and talk with majorly English speaking people anywhere it always goes to shit like this, I probably curate my feed very badly if this is a pattern

@nate literally Georgian queer community that aided us endocrinologist: "how do we deal with trans people coming from Russia and Ukraine and how can we help them while our government also goes authoritarian"

Whatever the fuck is this: "DNI if you use toothpaste gay flag, DNI if you think anti transmasculinity exists"

@nate honestly it is perfectly fine and understandable to not want to hang around groups that have people that deny your experiences and existence. You don’t deserve to have to go through that, nobody does.

@arctic I'm usually fine with different views of things because our world is diverse, but when it's something I am living through it's just hard to just be "chill" about it. I have nightmares of not being able to abort after violence due to not being "woman" in my birth certificate due to transition.

@nate Oh and of COURSE those TIRFs pull "women and nonbinary people" too

I'm male, cis, and nonbinary!! [because my gender isn't "typical human male" it's "male wolf"] So of course they're just going "oh nonbinary = Woman Lite".
